北海道浦河町で騎馬参拝
競走馬の産地として知られる北海道浦河町の神社で、馬に乗ってお参りをする「騎馬参拝」が行われました。 騎馬参拝は浦河町で100年以上続く伝統行事で、毎年1月2日に行われます。 地元の子どもたちが馬に乗って神社を参拝し、人と馬の無病息災を祈りました。 「これからも馬に乗り続けてうまくなりたい」（参加した子ども） 「馬体安全それに携わる人たちの健康を祈って参拝させてもらった」(浦河町騎馬参拝実行委員会 中島雅春委員長) 今年は感染防止のため、観客を入れない静かな参拝となりました。
